Welcome

Since its inception in 1838, Lyndhurst has always been a source of rest, renewal, and inspiration for the families that lived here.  We invite you to come and experience this special place with your family and friends.

Come for a tour of the stunning mansion, designed by renowned American architect Alexander Jackson Davis, and considered by many to be the finest Gothic Revival mansion in America and home to three prominent families, including Jay Gould. You will be delighted with the authentic room settings filled with original pieces by Davis, Herter Brothers, Tiffany and paintings by Bouguereau, Gerome, and Daubigny.
